THE BEACH TULUM HOTEL

Nestled between Hotel Cabañas Tulum and Ziggy's (SEE REVIEW), two of our favorite spots, is a new wonderful boutique, adults-only hotel, The Beach Tulum Hotel.
From the moment you arrive and walk through their reception area and lobby, you know you are not in just any ordinary beach resort.

The attention to detail is amazing; every aspect of this resort is welcoming, relaxing and oh-so-special.
The staff is warm, welcoming and extremely professional and complements this lovely property.

You can relax in their lobby, shoot some billiards, or have a drink at the bar.
Step right out into the property and you will have to watch out not to land in one of its two meandering pools.
Above the lobby is a wonderful open space that will be used for workshops, functions and events.

All of this is wonderful but it is the rooms that will stay in your mind forever. If you're looking for something really special and wanting to feel pampered, look no farther.
The Beach Tulum Hotel has only 20 rooms: 8 Deluxe Superior Rooms with 1 king bed, and 12 Deluxe Rooms with king beds.
All rooms have the most spectacular views of the ocean—many places make this claim, but can they finish that statement with from every place in your room, including your bath and shower? These rooms were specifically designed to allow for that.

For the Deluxe accommodations you can choose from first-floor rooms or second-floor rooms. Each has its own very private balcony. Each comes with large walk-in showers and huge Jacuzzi tubs made for two.

The Deluxe Superior Rooms have all that the Deluxe Rooms have, including a private pass-through, so your meals can be delivered without worry of being disturbed.
What makes these rooms Superior is that you walk out your back door and can step into that winding pool we mentioned earlier.

Hop in and swim on up to the lobby for a cocktail or bite. In addition, they have their own private stairway up to the personal rooftop deck which is the size of your room! Once you are there, you have an amazing view of the beach and jungle, and have two large king-size lounging couches and another private tub built for two.
It's definitely the perfect spot to watch the sunset, stargaze, or even do a little private sunbathing. The rooms also have sofas and balconies facing the ocean.

All rooms come with Wi-Fi so you can email your friends and rub it in that you are living THE Life in Paradise. And all have easy access to the garden, pool and beach!

Worried you won't have enough to do?
The hotel activities include: inland tours to archeological sites; tequila tasting; paddle board classes and rentals; book swapping; kite boarding lessons and rentals; wine and cocktail tasting; Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Kung classes; free bikes; cooking lessons on request;

Kayaking in Sian Ka'an Biosphere; volleyball; massages; and guided snorkeling and diving tours.
Located at one of the widest sections of beach in Tulum, perfect for sunbathing, there are miles of beach to walk; between the Tulum ruins and Sian Ka'an Biosphere this is the perfect place to relax and leave your worries behind.

Go ahead, book your next vacation there—don't you deserve it? We don't just say that, we have done it, and also booked part of our son's honeymoon there, so you will be hearing more about this place when they return this spring!

Oh, and I have to mention the free breakfast from ZIGGY'S RESTAURANT next door is an amazing way to start the day! Breakfast includes juice, smoothie or fruit waters, breads with butter and jams, any choice of entrée, and any choice of coffees, espressos, lattes or teas. Ziggy's Restaurant offers happy hours and special dining options throughout the week. While we were there, two of our favorites were the Tequila Tasting and Seafood Barbecue.
