No se pierda pasar por la legendaria helader\u00eda &#8220;Col\u00f3n&#8221;. La mayor\u00eda de las mansiones ahora se transforman en museos, bancos o negocios; se puede admirar la arquitectura francesa y presenciar el auge econ\u00f3mico que tuvo este estado gracias al &#8220;henequ\u00e9n&#8221; (fibra de sisal u oro verde), producido y exportado a Europa hace siglos.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Gran Museo Del Mundo Maya:<\/strong> Este es un museo de primera clase que exhibe 1160 cer\u00e1micas antiguas notablemente bien conservadas y reliquias arqueol\u00f3gicas rescatadas de los muchos sitios arqueol\u00f3gicos que tiene este maravilloso estado, como <strong>Chichen Itz\u00e1, Uxmal y Ek Balam<\/strong>. Este museo tiene la intenci\u00f3n de reconocer la etnia de la cultura y las personas mayas como una cultura en vivo, as\u00ed como su herencia milenaria. Es un gran lugar para ampliar su conocimiento sobre esta impresionante cultura antes de visitar cualquier sitio arqueol\u00f3gico.<\/li>\n<li><strong> La comida: <\/strong>la gastronom\u00eda de Yucat\u00e1n se basa en carne de cerdo, venado, pavo, chile habanero, axiote, frijoles negros, tortillas y algunos ingredientes europeos.<br \/>\nPruebe el cerdo asado a fuego lento \u201cCochinita Pibil\u201d, cocinado bajo tierra con axiote y envuelto en hojas de pl\u00e1tano, \u201cPanuchos\u201d (tortillas de ma\u00edz rellenas de frijoles, ligeramente fritas y adornadas con tomates, lechuga, carne molida, pollo o pavo, aguacate y cebolla en escabeche) &nbsp;o &#8220;Salbutes&#8221; (igual que los panuchos pero sin los frijoles). Uno de sus manjares es el &#8220;Queso Relleno&#8221; (relleno de cerdo preparado con cebolla, ajo, alcaparras y aceitunas, relleno de queso Edam) y &#8220;Sopa de Lima&#8221; (sopa de lima con pavo desmenuzado y tiras de tortillas fritas).<br \/>\nLos procesos de cocci\u00f3n y los sabores abundantes de esta gastronom\u00eda \u00fanica lo sorprender\u00e1n.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Las Haciendas:<\/strong> Construidas entre los siglos XVII y XIX, las <strong>Haciendas<\/strong> eran propiedad de familias nobles espa\u00f1olas que produc\u00edan y exportaban cuerdas de fibra natural a Europa. La cuerda derivada del &#8220;henequ\u00e9n&#8221; o planta de agave tambi\u00e9n se la conoc\u00eda como &#8220;oro verde&#8221;. <strong>Yucat\u00e1n<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en una econom\u00eda en auge que ten\u00eda exportaci\u00f3n y comercio con otros pa\u00edses europeos y un contacto m\u00ednimo con el gobierno central, la sociedad y las empresas de M\u00e9xico.
