If you have ever been to Tulum before, you might have noticed this amazing destination offers a lot of options for tourists interested in wellness and health. Most visitors, aside from enjoying a laidback atmosphere, being in contact with nature and loving the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, are also on the healthy side, and being healthy does not involve only the body, but also the mind and spirit always yearning to get away from the stress of our daily lives.  Tulum has become one of the best spots in the planet if you wish to relax and reconnect with yourself.  

In Tulum you can also find a lot of restaurants that offer vegan and vegetarian menus, and you will be happy to know you will encounter several cold pressed juice bars along the main road on the hotel strip and fresh coconut water stands as well.

Jogging: For those who enjoy freedom and solitude, jogging can be the solution, you can run on the beach or on the cycle path that unites the hotel zone with downtown Tulum, or ride on a complimentary bike from your hotel. All free activities that will take you wherever you want to go at your own pace.

Kitesurf: This is a trend in Tulum. You can take lessons from a private instructor or bring down your equipment if you are a pro and enjoy the power of the wind while sailing the waves. 

Gyms: There are several fully equipped Gyms in the downtown area of Tulum that include a/a areas and private instructors that can be paid on a daily basis or request a weekly rate. For more fun and the Caribbean Sea as your backdrop, try Tulum Jungle Gym – open air, all exercise stations are handmade with natural materials such as stone and wood.

Spa: A perfect place to relax and get pampered at the same time. Try Naj Naay Spa at The Beach Tulum Hotel, they have an varied menu of treatments, from deep tissue therapy to a holistic session or a crystal healing therapy, that will rejuvenate your mind and body. A sauna, Turkish bath and Swedish shower are set to be added by the next Christmas Holiday season.

Yoga: you will find many hotels that have a specific area where they practice yoga on their daily morning sessions. You can stretch and breathe overlooking the ocean or surrounded by the tropical humidity of the jungle. 

Fitness in Tulum is easy to find, you just have to choose the activity and the state of mind that makes you feel happy.
